Our Heart of the Universe

Here it is, my first attempt at a BLOG.  What the hell is a blog?  Well, to me it's a place for me to write about the things that I think about.  It's a stepping stone to bigger writing projects.  It's my start into putting myself out there to be SEEN. So, hopefully something I write about will resonate with you and will help you in some way.  Maybe, you'll laugh or cry, maybe you'll feel connected to me, and maybe you'll find a sense of belonging in this world!  We are never alone, and our light is the heart of the universe.

About Always A Teacher

Is this about Identity?

I'm a newly retired teacher.  Wow - what a transition.  Let's just say, I had an amazing career in a public school setting.  It lit me up, it created a sense of purpose like no other.  I know I did the best I possibly could and hopefully made a difference.  To me, I'm always a teacher. My family, friends, tribe, and acquaintances realize this is, and will always be, a part of the who that I am.  In this blog, I hope that I can continue to lead, guide, inspire and support others to be the best they can be.

My identity? I am in a place where I recognize my skills, talents, and gifts.  At least all of those I have discovered so far.  I know there are more and I'm excited to have them be revealed on my journey into the future. For now, I am who I am, and I accept all of me.  This has been a spiritual awakening of sorts and keeps me moving forward.  Buckle up with me and enjoy the ride as we navigate this world together.
